Graffiti

With this painting I concentrated more on the line work and then added colour while wishing not to over power the line. I like that it is not over worked... as if a graffiti artist did it in minimal time.

Typeface Design

This is a typeface that I designed, it is called "Kaaritty". I applied the typefaces in two different poster designs showcasing my typeface and it's personality.

Editorial Illustration

This project deals with a situation that was in South African papers for a very long time. The Miners' strike at Lonmin. These are real articles and the illustrations and layout are self-generated and the results are two final spreads concerning the strike.

Works in progress! My explorations of digital painting. Something I definitely feel is worth getting better at!

Digital Photography

Copic Marker Rendering

These are done with copic markers, a quick industry medium that requires speed and lightness. It takes a while to get it right sometimes, but when you do the result is nothing short of pleasing. I will be taking these into photsoshop very soon!

Editorial Design

This was done for an editorial design project. The subject matter was totally up to us. Lately I have taken a keen interest in film and documentary making. Anthropology and people fascinate me. So the direction my my magazine took was that of a social documentary called RED TAPE. All the images used are mine. I am proud of the results.

Every moment tells a story _series of film photographs

This is one of a series of photographs taken with a 35mm film camera. I went to the city because there is a story to be found behind every face and in every moment. Beautiful shapes and scenes that become mesmerizing simply because you immortalised a fleeting second.
